We’re very proud to announce that throughout August, D&D London will be partnering with charity Catch Leeds, who are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all children and young people.

Over the course of the month, we will be fundraising in all our Leeds venues by adding a voluntary £1 donation to every guest’s bill, so that Catch Leeds can provide the support for those that need it.

About Catch Leeds:

WHO ARE WE?

CATCH stands for ‘Community Action To Create Hope’. We are a registered charity based in Leeds, West Yorkshire. We have been working with adults and young people from diverse backgrounds for over 10 years. At our colourful Harehills headquarters we have created a safe space for the whole community, but in particular for young people. We have a popular youth programme with over 1000 members providing a range of opportunities for sport, creativity and learning, as well as for volunteering and social action projects.

At CATCH, we are work in partnership with a range of organisations, including the police, council, schools and businesses. We believe collaboration is the only way to make Leeds a safer and healthier place. We offer people opportunities to gain valuable volunteering and professional experience that can help them build skills and confidence to reach their full potential. We also act as a source of support, advice, and inspiration to raise aspirations of people of all ages and backgrounds.

You can’t miss the CATCH building. It has its own unique story, the colourful interlocking structure was relocated from Wakefield to Leeds and transformed into a community space thanks to the goodwill and hard work of our volunteers and businesses. Over the years we have transformed the entire site with our buildings, sports field, gardens, a food bus, and educational farm. Our space is used for youth activities, educational classes, meetings, conferences, and social events. We also have a community café that offers a welcoming environment for a coffee and a chat.

We thank you for your generosity.
